To prevent potential harm to life or property caused by dangerous trees on private land toppling during the monsoon, the owners should take proactive measures to cut down or trim such trees at their own expense and risk. It is hereby notified that unless the said trees are cut down, the tree owner alone shall be held liable for any loss, damage, or adverse consequences arising therefrom, in accordance with Section 30(2)(v) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
